what's ahead?

pmr results will be out tomorrow...well, it's actually today...it's past midnight...just 11 hours and 15 minutes left from now before the pmr resluts are announced...i guess i'm gonna go to school as early as possible so that none of my friends will have the chance to call me and say 'timothy, u got bla bla bla bla bla'...i rather go and see it for myself...=)

i still haven't decided on which stream to go to...and my decision on that matter practically depends on the results...my schedule for next year has also not been planned yet...and i'm still in the blurr on what should i do after i receive the results...no idea on what's gonna happen next...tuitions,cocurricular and other activities still haven't been planned out yet...

one thing's for sure...next year's schedule and decisions on my activities(especially which stream i'm going to go to) are going to be messy after i get the resluts...i geuss it's gonna start wreaking up my peaceful life...oh well...i still have no idea what subjects are in which stream...

so it all relies on the results later today which are going to start the chain of events of decision making...whatever it is,just trust in God that whether i will get 7Es or 7As or somewhere in between He will have a plan for me,even though i might not get to go to the stream i'd like next year...

might be posting about the results after i get them today...wait for my next post ya...=)

wish me luck....n good luck to everybody who are going to get their results too! =D God bless!

Christmas events

hey!!!

finally get to update about christmas...haha...
I and my family went for christmas dinner on christmas eve in san francisco steakhouse...here are the pics...

mum

grandmother

dad and uncle

me...wearing contact lenses =D

and next...the food...=) just took some of them only...forgot to take the rst...xp...sorry for the bad lighting...

moving on to the next day...the actual christmas day itself...woke up at 9 something then prepared to go to church...Mass started at 11.15 a.m....sorry i didn't take anypics coz i had no time...anyway, it was the Mass...we r not suppose to be busy taking photos but instead should be listening to the bible readings n homily n also participating in the Mass...the church (the Church of Divine Mercy)was...beautiful...full of the christmas decorations...n all the candles around the christmas wreath in addition to another bigger one in the middle of it were lighted...Christmas is here!!!!! haha...btw, my mum's birthday is on christmas day... Happy birthday mum!!!!! =D...i don't think she's even reading this...lol...

and then we went down to seremban to my dad's hometown in the afternoon, after lunch...did nothing much there...my cousins were missing until night, that is only when the dinner was ready...-.-...n the adults were busy chatting n my 4-year-old niece was running around don't know doing what...so i was just sitting there...lonely...i brought some books back to read...but i just didn't have the mood to read...so in the end i ended up watching tv the whole day until we came home...finally i watched eagle eye...=)...

then at about 7 or 8 something lidat my uncles n aunties n cousins n all the other ppl started arriving at my aunty's house where the dinner was...there wasn't much of the christmas atmosphere...i didn't really feel that i was there for christmas...most of my relatives just walked into the house n i know they saw me but they didn't even look at me as though i wasn't there...i know im short but im not that short that ppl can't see me kay...swt...luckily my cousin still remember me...we chatted awhile and then had dinner...dinner wasn't anything special...it was just the normal chinese food...and then stayed awhile longer...came back home at 12 a.m....

received just a few presents....my uncle n grandmother gave me some money...another uncle gave me a parker pen...received a shirt from my aunty...a manchester united shirt n other stuff from my godfather... thx to everybody who gave me presents!

n although my christmas celebrations weren't really fun n memorable, but as i have said in my previous posts, the christmas joy can be always found in our hearts, wherever n whenever(literally)...although the company of ppl,the christmas dinner n all the food n celebrations do make christmas merrier, but the true celebration of christmas, the main thing,is that christ is born n we welcome Him into our lifes...it is a joy that the world cannot remove...=) Gloria in Excelsis Deo in saecula!

*don't think christmas is over...there are 12 days of christmas....

Jesus is the reason for the season

hey guys...
i got this from my godfather...
i found it interesting and inspirational..so i decided to post it...=)

As Advent begins, REMEMBER:
Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.
May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008
And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.
God bless you.

~Behold, you will concieve in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.~ ---Luke 1:31-33

the greatest christmas gift ever

hey!!!

just wanted to share with u guys some reflections on the true meaning of christmas....and why christmas is celebrated...

hv u ever wanted a perfect gift for christmas? im sure everybody has wished for it....it might probably be some branded stuff or something else....

people today often forget why christmas is celebrated...when it comes to christmas, the first thing that always comes to our minds r giving n receiving presents...n that is probably the result of commersialising christmas...it is good to give presents n be generous...n when we receive the gift we hv been longing for,we consider it the best present...but that is not the main event of christmas...

the truth is,we hv already received the best gift ever...2000 years ago...long before we were born...that gift is the gift of Jesus Christ, the Messiah who has come into the world to save mankind...He brought life and salvation...He is not only a gift for an individual, but an amazing gift for the whole world...without Him,the barrier of sin separating men from God would hv never been broken...n only through Him,who has been sent by the Father that we can receive forgiveness...n it was Jesus who set an example of how we should live our lifes as children of God...we would be lost in our sins if it was not for His sacrifice for us...is there anything greater that we can ask for? isnt the birth of the Lord the best thing that ever happened? it is His birth which is celebrated on each christmas which is the greatest gift ever...we should thank God for this...n our christmas celebrations ought to be centred around this great n meaningful event....

~And the Word became flesh and made his dwellings among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father's only Son, full of grace and truth.~ ---John 1:14

short update

good evening!

I've not been updating for more than a week already...haiz...just a short update now....had been so busy lately...just came back from subang parade with my mum...had lunch n bought a few stuff there...

Many things has been happening the past week...my uncle passed away....he had some sort of complication...sobs....so we had wake prayers every night in my aunt's hse for the past week...my family has been running to n fro to seremban almost every alternate days for the prayers n funerals stuff...glad its all over now...at least i dont hv to go to my aunt's hse n just hang around for a few hours n get bored while waiting for the prayers to start....

Family n friends will be continuing to pray for my uncle frequently although the daily BEC prayers have ended a week after his death...hopefully the prayers will help him be cleansed from his sins as soon as possible in purgatory...so that he will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.... Well...for those who dont believe in purgatory....it does exist kay.... Hopefully God will give my aunt strength in this trying times...she's been lonely n sad...haiz...

Oh well...there's a time for everything right...so stuff do happen at the time its meant to happen....

That's all im updating for now....ciaozzz.... God bless!

~Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"~ ---John 11:25-26

Ordination

This post is specially for Father Alvin Ho.I know this might be slightly late as he was ordained two days ago,but anyway, congrats Father Alvin.

For those who doesn't know what is an ordination, it is a sacrament whereby someone becomes a priest. The ordination was held in the Church of St. Francis Xavier,Petaling Jaya, and it was jam packed. So my mum, grandmother and her friend and I had to sit in the porch but we could still get a good view of the whole thing(despite of my height) as they had cameras and projectors projecting the whole event on the wall. All the priest, deacons etc. were there and many of the faithful attended it.And to our surprise,Father Alvin actually remembered us...he greeted my grandmother on the way in.I couldn't take any photos after he entered the church...I'm too short(as usual) and everybody else was blocking my view. But still,I managed to take some photos at the end of the whole event. Here they are.

ONCE AGAIN

CONGRATULATIONS TO FATHER ALVIN HO S.J.!

May the Holy Spirit always guide you to serve Christ and the Church with love and wisdom through your vocation!

God bless you and may He bless you abundantly!

And by the way, Father Alvin's ordination day, 3rd December, coincided with the feast of St. Francis Xavier, the preacher which the church was named after.Father Alvin is so blessed to be ordained on that day...as it was the feast of St. Francis Xavier.Just for your info, St. Francis Xavier was the person who spreaded Christianity to the East during the Portuguese conquest. And,yes, he did come to Malacca during the times of the sultans. He is the patron saint of India,Philippines, navigators and parish missions, just to name a few.
